Luncheon Magazine - Issue 19

The Spring–Summer 2025 issue is a vibrant mix of art, fashion, food, and conversation. With charming illustrations by Iris de Moüy, the magazine opens with “Service, Please”, a playful fashion story by Felix Cooper and Myles Mansfield-Calenti. A rare portrait of Willem de Kooning by Snowdon and a comforting Spaghetti Bolognese recipe by Hugh Corcoran add texture and warmth.

We explore protest and photography in “Resistance”, an exhibition curated by Steve McQueen and Clarrie Wallis, and uncover the story of Dr Barry, with writing by Molly Lawson and insights from Carol Maginn.

New writing appears in “50 Minutes”, a play by Deborah Levy, and fashion becomes narrative in “I want to be you”, featuring Richard E. Grant and Clara Romero Collins. We also highlight the work of Amy Sillman, with a conversation led by Jordan Carter.

Other highlights include a dialogue between photographers Paolo Roversi and Sarah Moon, and a powerful conversation with collector Patric McCoy. Paolo Carzana’s Trilogy of Hope showcases expressive fashion, joined by editorials like “Double vie”, “Puppetry”, “Nast Shirt”, “Ensemble”, and “Spill the tea”—each offering its own visual world.

The issue ends with a lively exchange between Nicholas Lander and Charlie Porter, tying together themes of creativity, identity, and shared experience.
