To celebrate our fifteenth year in New York, Assembly New York is conducting an international open call for artwork to be printed on a limited edition of 10 t-shirts. We will accept all submissions and select a minimum of 3 designs to be produced and sold exclusively at our NY location and on www.assemblynewyork.com. Selected designs will receive a $500 online/in-store gift card and 2 of the finished garments.
- Create an original Assembly New York artwork in any medium; drawing, painting, photography, digital, etc
- Artwork can include our the words "New York" inverted as in our logo, but it is not required
- Submit artwork to opencall@assemblynewyork.

Guidelines:
- Artwork should be 100% original and owned entirely by the artist
- Artwork should not include any recognizable people, logos, or otherwise trademarked material
- File submission can be in .jpg or .pdf format, with file size under 5MB per artwork. We will request larger format of the selected designs
- Multiple entries per person are allowed

No purchase necessary to be selected, void where prohibited. The Assembly New York Open Call (the "Open Call") is to encourage eligible participants ("Entrant(s)" or "You") to use creativity to create an Assembly New York design submission. Assembly New York associates will make final selections, in accordance with these Official Requirements (these "Requirements").
Please read these Requirements prior to submission to ensure you understand and agree. You agree that submission of any entry constitutes agreement to these Requirements. You may not submit an entry and are not eligible for selection unless you agree to these Requirements. These Requirements form a binding legal agreement between you and Assembly New York with respect to the Open Call. It is within the sole discretion of Assembly New York to make any decisions regarding the legality of submitted artwork. Artwork may not be included in any actual or threatened litigation or claim.

Each design will be evaluated based on the following "Criteria": (i) artistic intention, (ii) final execution; and (iii) adherence to the Requirements.
Decisions are final and binding. In the event there are not enough selected entries, not all compensations will be awarded.

All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. As between Assembly New York and the Entrant, selected Entrants grant limited ownership intellectual and industrial property rights (including moral rights) in and to the design to Assembly New York for purpose of printing 10 t-shirts. As a condition of entry, Entrant grants Assembly New York right to use the artwork for 10 t-shirts. Entries will not be returned. By artwork submission, Entrants agree to participate in any media or promotional activity resulting as reasonably requested by Assembly New York and agree and consent to use of their name and/or likeness, unless specifically asked in writing not to.
Entrants warrant that their designs are their own original work and, as such, they are the sole and exclusive owner and rights holder of the submitted design and that they have the right to submit the design in the Contest and grant all required licenses. Each Entrant agrees not to submit any design that: (a) infringes any third party proprietary rights, intellectual property rights, industrial property rights, personal or moral rights or any other rights, including without limitation, copyright, trademark, trade names, industrial designs, patent, trade secret, privacy, publicity or confidentiality obligations; or (b) otherwise violates applicable state, federal, or local law.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Entrant indemnifies and agrees to keep indemnified Sponsor at all times from and against any liability, claims, demands, losses, damages, costs and expenses resulting from any act, default or omission of the Entrant and/or a breach of any warranty set forth herein. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Entrant agrees to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Sponsor from and against any and all claims, actions, suits or proceedings, as well as any and all losses, liabilities, damages, costs and expenses (including reasonable attorneys fees) arising out of or accruing from: (i) any design or other material uploaded or otherwise provided by Entrant that infringes any copyright, trademark, trade secret, trade dress, patent or other intellectual property right of any person or defames any person or violates their rights of publicity or privacy; (ii) any misrepresentation made by Entrant in connection with the Contest; (iii) any non-compliance by Entrant with these Requirements; (iv) claims brought by persons or entities other than the parties to these Requirements arising from or related to Entrant's involvement with the Contest; (v) acceptance, possession, misuse or use of any prize or participation in any Open Call-related activity or participation in the Open Call ; (vi) any malfunction or other problem with the Open Call Site in relation to the entry and participation in the Open Call by Entrant; (vii) any error in the collection, processing, or retention of entry or voting information in relation to the entry and participation in the Open Call by Entrant and in the voting process by consumers; or (viii) any typographical or other error in the printing, offering or announcement of any prize or winners in relation to the entry and participation in the Open Call by Entrant. Any false information provided within the context of the Open Call by Entrant concerning identity, email address, ownership of right or non-compliance with these Requirements or the like may result in the immediate elimination of the entrant from the Open Call.
