Originally studying fine art and curatorial studies in Los Angeles, CFDA designer Greg Armas operated contemporary galleries before launching the concept boutique Scout LA in 2003. Continuing his labors he began working as an architectural and retail consultant in Tokyo, before endeavoring to launch Assembly New York the shop and the eponymous collection in 2008.
