Darner

Darner is designed and custom printed on mesh fabric and made into dress socks for women in a variety of original prints and colors. Darner also offers simple, yet luxurious everyday socks in bamboo rayon jersey, which is sustainable, natural and machine washable. Unlike traditional socks, which are fully knit, Darner socks are cut-and-sewn from custom-made nylon and bamboo fabrics. The socks feature beautiful seam details, which elongate the foot and leg. The unique cut-and-sew socks are inspired by a hosiery pattern from the late 1800's.  While the name Darner comes from the nickname given to the women brought into the military during the Civil War to repair (or darn) the soldiers’ damaged socks. Darner is proudly designed and made in Los Angeles.
